    Nerdy haircut and wrong choices

  • Somewhere over the rainbow… - There’s a story about a family that had a donkey. Whether they ride him, load him or let him walk - world has an opinion on how should they behave instead. Whole world, simply, cannot be pleased.
  • Ductus Botalli - In the darkness of a room at maternity hospital "Narodni front" in Belgrade lies one of the smallest fighters in the world. He’s as quiet as possible. No need for bothering his comrades, that he sees through the glass of a tank in which he’s lying.
  • Nerdy haircut and wrong choices - I was at the hairdresser’s today. This is my "I’m starting the fifth grade" hairstyle.
  • Life and business in Serbia – snippets of heart and art - This is the first time that I’ll publish a story that is not mine. This a story of one American girl that came to my country and found in it inspiration and future calling.
  • Life exactly as I want it to be - I’m shaping my life to be exactly what I want it to be. This probably sounds like I simply let the world adapt to my wishes and I enjoy it. But, let me tell you something – this is not an easy job.
  • Running through priorities in clean sneakers - You enter the primary school made of red brick, crawl under the stairs into dark corridor, and in the last classroom on the right you find fourth class of fifth grade. Chairs are creaking over the floor. One chalk flies over school desks. "Target" screams and scratches his head. We are packing up for a physical education.
  • Nerdy July - It is not my intention to justify why I wasn’t so active on the blog in early July. Some of my reasons for this are quite nerdy and only because of that I decided to share them here, with you. :)
  • One hug for all the stories about music - In October last year something unusual happened to me. I was far away from home, trying to find myself, in life and in writing. One boy, that I’m especially fond of, sent me several stories about music. Those were actually stories about the essence of everything, just hidden behind the songs – but that doesn’t matter right now. I enjoyed them and that was it. I’ve never asked for them on my own, nor I nor have I inquired about the details. Not until one of them broke me, in thousands of tiny pieces.
  • Go back to the box - Phil Hansen and myself have never met each other. This limiting truth didn’t stop him to change my life. Yes, this is a man who is largely responsible for the fact that you are now reading these lines. In his brilliant TED talk, Phil shared his story with the world. He went to art school and practiced pointillism when his hands began to shake.
  • When did you invent your excuse? - “Pass the salad.” “Look at those sweet little shoes!” “How's going at that new job of yours?” “Can I get one more beer?” A cacophony of a family lunch, completed with clinking of glasses and silverware noise. Leon gives a glance to all moving lips that are talking, drinking, chewing and laughing.
  • Lesson about rowing - I know a serious guy. I think that most people who know him could agree that he is serious guy. It is somehow implied by the fact that he graduated from Faculty of Electrical Engineering and is specialized in 2D materials, especially if you do not know what 2D materials are. He can explain it to you in a minute. You learn that they have only one layer of atoms. Everything gets as clear as a day.
  • First knowledge, then everything else! - Some time ago, I visited exibition "Pupin - from the physical to the spiritual reality". There I’ve heard a wonderful story about Mihajlo Pupin and how he got 18 honorary doctorates from universities all over the world.
  • Ich lerne Deutsch - Phenomenal feeling of fear that has marked my entire previous year, deserves special post as a start of serious nerdy venture. It struck me on 2nd of July, around 13 o‘clock, on main train station in Hamburg.
  • My friend Velicko - Underneath the blinking neon-light, in one of abandoned auditoriums, group of people is drafting on white board serious strategy. Photos have to be mobile, the most read author to be circled with blue, voting of readers to be counted for surveys…
  • Why I can’t play piano - I started learning piano when I was about seven or eight years old. It seemed ladylike and I insisted to try. My parents were never especially encouraging me to do so, but they were willing to support me.
